Let's Party Like It's 1589

As the weather gets warmer I can't help but get excited about one festival where you can double fist a turkey leg and a beef on the stick and not a single person will glare at you sideways.

You may say-what magic, but where? Not Disneyland, not your favorite Chinese buffet-NO it is The New York Renaissance Faire. Where hormone addled pickles and mud pits are standard fare.

Hopefully, this year the juggling chainsaw show won't be so loud but hey-yeah shall gettith no complaints from meeith.

In this image the overheated crowd was preparing for the joust next to the king and queen's chess set.

Where else can you say that and mean it?!? Well, maybe Medieval Times but you'll have to sojourn to Jersey for that.

The Sleeping Place Is Where I'm Found

Chinchilla's are rats. So they say, well not say.....ok it's generally a fact but look how fluffy adorable and not in a subway this guy is. Still, every time I amble into a Petland Discounts or rodent kiosk in the mall I can't help but stop and make goo goo eyes at these little buggers like a love struck teen.

He/she makes me want to take a nap in the most positive way possible.

They have super ability to sleep in the most uncomfortable of places and balance on a single hamster wheel.

They don't let the puffiness of their midsections get them down-they work with it...like little Chinchilla rock stars. This guy is given the two-toed sloth a run for his money.

Ok, I'll face it- I need to stop visiting pet stores and staring at Chinchilla's or maybe I'll just start practicing moderation.

Someone Is Going To Come

Weeping trees are beautiful bar none. Naked ones however are ominous.

Hidden behind a rod iron fence feels frigtening in its simplicity. The only helpful image-a lone bird feeder hanging limply from a branch.

You have to squint to see it-like a Highlight's Magazine picture.
